Hi.

We need someone to plug a new PC in for a client of ours in, at a retail store in Wellington.

I expect it to be something nice and quick, plug in the PC, and make sure it's connected to the Internet and that we can access it remotely, and that all printers etc are plugged in and recognized.

Let me know if you are someone or know someone who could assist. Likely sometime later next week or the week after.

Cheers

Last time I did some boots on the ground for someone from out of town he paid me with fairly pimped DL380 G9 for my lab.. which had a motherboard failure a few weeks back.. As I now need a new lab server I'm available if you have any decent servers you need to find a new home for :-)

*edit* and yes, for the record that was still probably cheaper than buying me beers  :-P

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup. Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.
