Have a new QNAP NAS, and trying to setup LDAP on it to use for permissions etc.

 

But I'm getting this message in the status :

 

 

When checking users, nothing shows.

 

Looking on QNAP forums, this was a common issue back in 2014-2018 - surely they've fixed it by now ??? 

 

Am I missing something ?

Resolved.... NOWHERE in the docs does it state they only support upto 8 characters for passwords :D

 

Muppets... anyway, working now :D
