I know theres sites out there that can show historical data on domain ownership for .com etc, but anything for NZ ?

Story is, someone owned a .org.nz, that lapsed (somehow they never noticed their emails stopped), I've since taken over the domain but I want to check when it originally expired.

Possible ?

Such a thing would require people to scrape whois regularly looking for changes, which is probably a breach of the T&C.

If you have reasons for wanting to know (beyond 'being nosy') you could ask if the DNC will give over historic registry data.

You could also try the likes of the waybackmachine?
