im not experienced in joomla or drupal but i want to have a community social networking site like geekzone and i found extensions of joomla and drupal but i can't decide which one to go with.
i was looking at a social networking template for joomla called Comuna 3 that has a demo over at . http://demo.templateplazza.net/comuna3_jomsocial/index.php?tpstyle=style1

it has all the things i need and joomla itself has alot of extensions http://extensions.joomla.org but so does drupal. both are free coded in php so its difficult to choose which one. what do you think?

From what I remember when i played with them both is that Joomla is a bit friendlier to setup as such but Drupal is quite powerful and flexible but has a steeper learning curve to go with it.

I have been using joomla and found it quite good.
