Hey guys, a nice curve ball here.

We have a blastchat powered chat interface embedded into our Joomla website. We would like to be able to have an app running on our desktop that lets us access it as if we were on the website. For the purposes of keeping a staff member on the chat at all times, without the hassle of having to keep the browser open.

Anyone have any ideas where to start? It doesnt have to be pretty, just functional.

My thoughts were to get an app or something that can remotely log into the website as if we were on it by providing the ability to enter username and password. I have limited programming skills in java, and VB.net, so im not looking to make it a masterpiece. If i could get away with a tin can and a piece of string i would.

Cheers all

Chris

What's the problem with having a browser open to access this component?

For example, we run our company emails off Google Hosted Apps, I have the option to use POP3 or IMAP but I use the web interface, and it stays open most of the day without any dramas.
