My boss has just spent 30mins on the phone to Microsoft trying to get an answer to this and didnt get anywhere with the woman who answered.........

We have some MOS certified staff/trainers in the company - we are wanting to know if we can use the MOS logos etc on our marketing material or is there some conditions to be able to do this ? (and if so, we'll just stick to our certified partner stuff)

TIA :)

Meh, just go for it and deflect the sh!t storm later :-) If you are doing it "wrong" they sure will come down pretty quick !
Phoning is often just a waste of time - usually just end up with some front end phone person that isn't aware of the deeper issues at hand, so perhaps e-mailing the CEO ? And if you do e-mail and get a reply, you can always use the reply as a defence if things go balls-up.

I think those with MOS, can have MOS logo on their business cards as per-say in the certification logo usage (much like MCP/MCSE/MCSA/MCSD).

As for organisation usage of the logo, that's fuzzy, normally certification goes with the person with such skillset, organisation be either MS Partner (or Silver or Gold) and that should cover most. Also Check the MS Partner's site for logo usage and what it covers and what entitlements goes with each status rank.

Its all here...

http://www.microsoft.com/About/Legal/EN/US/IntellectualProperty/Trademarks/Usage/Logo.aspx

Third parties may only use the Logo without a license only under the following limited circumstances

In advertising, marketing collateral, or a website that references your connection with Microsoft (for example, the material states that you are an authorized distributor or reseller of Microsoft products) provided that the area in which the Microsoft logo is used includes the corporate logo of at least 1 other company with which you have a similar relationship.

etc etc etc

From LennonNZ's link, lead to this: http://www.microsoft.com/about/legal/en/us/intellectualproperty/trademarks/logo/programs.aspx

Look for MOS, it stated there for the usage.

I'm the product manager for Microsoft Online Services here in New Zealand, so if you get stuck, ping me directly.

In addition to the above, you should find MOS specific logo usage guidelines on the partner portal page at http://quickstartonlineservices.com.

Nope... individuals cant use it...

"Logos for this program (MOS) are available for companies such as authorized testing centers and distributors that offer services related to the program, and vendors of approved program courseware. Individuals who pass testing under the Microsoft Office Specialist program are not eligible for a logo."

Finding what i need thanks to all the links :)

Not an option :)
Imagine printing out 1million+ flyers with the logo on it and then having MS go "RAH!" at us... then have to try recalling those flyers..... then theres the cost in those flyers.........
