Hi there, I'm wondering if there is a Hamilton-based ICT group for web entrepreneurs, much in the same vein as Unlimited Potential down in Wellington. Really I'm just looking for a place where a bunch of like-minded people can get together over a meal or a beer, talk about ideas for businesses over the web or using the web, bounce ideas of each other about what we need to focus on, and see if can make new relationships to get some of these ideas off the ground - focusing on the fact that most of us have useful skills in either coding or design or analysis or infrastructure, but we often don't have all the skills required to start a company up, or necessarily the capital to pay for these things. Sort of like a web-business collective really I guess. Any thoughts?

I'm in a similar spot as you (geographically and mentally speaking), except that I'm more focused on consumer desktop software. I'm trying to make the shift to the cloud-web-mobile though. Relatively new to the region so afraid I can't offer any suggestions for a group, but would be happy to meet up for a drink sometime. Maybe others seeing this thread will also be inspired to meetup.
basicallythis: Alright, I'll be there wearing a tag around my neck from the Hamilton City Council.
Oh waylon, Using company time to post on geekzone, I might have to tell your soon departing boss :)
