I had no trouble with getting the VS Ultimate ISO, but TFS crawled down. Fortunately everything was back to normal today and it's now up and running. I'm pleased to see that they fixed the blurry fonts that some of the betas had; I was worried that I wouldn't be able to use 2010 without getting a headache!

So far I've only tried one app in the RTM. Went from 0 errors and 0 warnings in 2008 to 66 errors and 13 warnings in 2010. Target framework not changed. Go figure.

So far, I'm loving it. It's way more efficient to work with. Even use it for PHP development (with VS.PHP for VS2010).

I don't really like how it shoves Team Foundation Server in my face all the time though. Especially since I can't get TFS to install.

(And thank my lucky stars that Orcon has an Akamai cache!)

Pretty sure you'll find they're one and the same.. i.e. If installing in a x64 environment you'll get x64

Woah.  I'd hate to have to pay retail for it - VS 2010 Ultimate is TWELVE THOUSAND US DOLLARS!

I think the only affordable way to get VS 2010 is to fold up shop every three years, found a new company, and rejoin the startup programs!

Oh, yeah. An FYI that Office 2010 RTM is on Technet and MSDN now too. Really cool!
