Hey guys,

Not sure if this is the right forum so thought id pop it here as this seemed best.
I have a friend starting a business and I said id lend him a hand.
He wants to find a system for invoicing and receipting payments that prefferably runs online (preferrably PHP but not essential) and also since he is just starting preferrably something open source or free.

Anyone have any ideas? I have googled but nothing seems terribly complete?

I understood that was accounting only, didnt realise it did invoicing etc. Thanks.
Any ideas for any that I can place on my own server? Just looking at options...

Check AmberDMS, developed here in Wellington. Also if your friend is looking for invoices only, have a look at Zoho.

Try FreshBooks it can synchronise with Xero. It may be slightly cheaper if he only wants the invoicing.

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the help.
So far AmberDMS is looking most likely, looks like a really great product, just a tad hard to install but after that it seems great.

Thanks

phpCOIN is an invoicing system but is not easy to use without good PHP knowledge.  It was designed for web hosting but is easily adapted for any type of product.  It is open source also
