Hey guys, would appreciate the help.

our organization's IS department is looking to revamp its workforce and wants to publicise itself by making themsekves known in mainly the NZ market but also overseas.

Hence, just need help in getting a few names / contacts of industry awards out there which we could aim for. Our organization is among the biggest in NZ and we outsource our more techy IT services. Our IS team inhouse are made up of service owners,BA's, Sol and Ent Architects, PM's, ITIL teams etc..

What are the awards out there we could go for? thanks for your help.

What kind of technologies you focus on? Open Source, Microsoft, Oracle?

Also moved it to correct forum (people please use correct forums or you don't get the responses you want).

Sorry about the wrong topic..

Well, being a large org, we have implementations of Microsoft, SAP, JDE, Oracle, VMWare and pretty much every other big name vendor.

Also, would be keen to know of any other generalistic awards such as best service delivery team, best  xx implementation, CIO, CTO, BA, project manager, ITIL teams etc

Ok... One was just handed out a couple of nights ago (I was attending the event) - the Microsoft Partner Awards. Good show.
