Hi There!

Unfortunately after a month away one of my staff has forgotten the password to a document!!!

I am looking for a quick easy and preferably free way to recover the content of the file.

I found a utility online that recovered the password instantly, but wanted $100 for the privilege.

I tried to bruteforce it using various utilities but no luck so far.

in short, there isn't any way to magically crack the password. Brute force is about your only hope.

And forget paying someone who claims to have a way of doing it; their method will likely be brute force too, but you won't know for certain until you've paid over the cash.

Blowtorch to the feet of the forgetful employee maybe? ;-)
