On my home network I've installed the VMM agent and brought accross the security file, created a TMG rule for HTTP/S between VMM and HV, the initial HTTP connections are successful then one is dropped with message "A packet was dropped because its IP length field does not fall within the allowed range or is inconsistent with the actual length" causing the connection to fail.

I've not enabled malware detection on this rule and all service packs and updates are applied on all components.

Although this packet was dropped, but was not stopping the edge HV management connection, what was happening was that DC requests where not been sought from the RODC. I opened access to the internal DCs to complete the connection, will now try and find out why it did not seek the RODC.
