I have been using Google Analytics for several years.

They recently introduced a new version. I've been using it.

Today I logged into an old, associated account still in the old version....and found that the old version shows me hits aggregated from today while the new version cuts off at the end of yesterday.

So the new version is providing less current information about the past 48 hours.

I prefer the old version.

I have to agree. I would prefer stats up to date. It's a great shame. Would prove useful.

Hello,

The new google analytics stats not tracking is a known bug, being worked on, along with a list of others.  You can keep track of whats not working and what is fixed with googles fix list on their forums here: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Google+Analytics/label?lid=05a7293d7b4dff3d&hl=en

The top post is stickied, and lists all the issues. Hope this helps :)

*a lot of the old google analytics tasks were faster, but I like some of the new google analytics features :)

IIRC Google Analytics was never real time. It was always delayed by a couple of hours at least... And I have been using GA for years (as many other Google products around here).

Hi

I don't think that the day behind issue is specific to the new version. I think the issue is caused by google using the wrong timezone. Because the US is 1 day behind Google defaults to the US date. If you select the date range on the top right it allows you to select todays date even though it has defaulted to yesterday. This works for me for both the old and new versions.

I would assume that there are some timezone settings somewhere but I have been too lazy to investigate.
