For a friends website, need to point the designer to something that can be used to make a long table of products usable.

I have found this one:

which does what is wanted but is all jumpy and therefore looks pretty amateur IMO.

Ideally something that will just fix the position of the row rather than relocate it on every scroll.

He is just wanting to have it repeat the header every x pixels based on the size of the image in the row, which will work fine untill I start loading them up with massive descriptions and they wrap to taller than the image.

http://www.imaputz.com/cssStuff/bulletVersion.html something like that? doesn't work in dolphin hd etc but fine in most main browsers

I believe you can set the header row with a CSS style like this:

th { position:fixed; top: 0px; }
