Im going to SIT next year and Im trying to learn a little bit of java so I don't have a huge rush of new concepts next year.
I was wondering if there are any tutorials for visual learners out there.
I get to CMD, javac to run helloworld and either im not reading right or stuffs just not working and I give up and look at indi games.

I would email the course provider to check that the course offered will be focusing on java first. I have been in the position of doing some pre study only to find they changed languages the next year.

Then the best way to learn is to write programs, compile them see what you did wrong and learn from it. Buy a beginners text book and work through that.
