Hi Folks,
Looking to do online sales through my web site, and keen to know of any recommended c/c merchants in NZ, especially well priced ones. Some of the banks are quite pricey in fees, and just keen to haer other recommendations

Cheers

Personally I just sucked it up and talked to my bank. You're pretty much looking at $40/month or so regardless for a "minimum rate" (basically like an old Telecom plan - you pay $20 and that covers up to $20 worth of your card processing fees), $20 for the gateway plus around $0.25 per transaction in gateway fees. Your alternative is pseudo-processing solutions like Pago, but I personally felt the payment flow was better (and easier for the consumer to understand and trust) with a gateway like DPS. And a ~2% commission rate beats the hell out of PayPal, MoneyBookers, and all that jazz. You're signing up to a 3 year commitment but personally I see it as worth it.

You could also look at EFTPOS NZ, flo2cash, or Worldpay (holy crud Worldpay charges a lot... FOUR PERCENT?!?)
