In AU there are several competitive submarine cables and the AU to Guam part of PPC is still going ahead and may or may not results in a price drop from SXC.

If I recall correctly SXC prices there transit in NZ at the same rates as in AU so if the AU PPC cables does cause a price reduction we will still benefit even not building the NZ >> AU PPC leg.
