Aussie ISP battles Hollywood and wins

reported by Sydney Morning Herald

Australian court case: iinet won case against movie studios who argued that the ISP had "authorised" copyright infringements. The judge found "a scheme for notification, suspension and termination of customer account was not in this instance a relevant power to prevent copyright infringement."
