The documents are understood to herald the first confirmed lawsuit against Vodafone over its much-publicised network issues last year, which included call dropouts, reception issues and poor data speeds.
The statement of claim alleges the problems led Top Stuff 4 Business to “cease trading”.
Top Stuff is seeking loss of current and future earnings over the problems. The company is applying for the multi-million dollar damages on the grounds that Vodafone and one of its key dealers breached government regulations.
