Besides the specs of this beast http://ulefone.com/products/power/spec.html

I think its also very attractive.

A couple of features Im waiting on a review before ordering are:

The sony f1.8 Camera, I want to see how it performs in low light, its the sony imx214 13mp f1.8.
If the 4 days normal use or 63 hours talk time is for real, considering its a Sony 6050mAh battery I tend to believe it. Unlike battery extenders like the nolemon you arent left with a brick of a phone.
The quick charge system, sounds good but I want proof.

The downsides;
its not telecom compatible, Ill swap to vodafone if I have to.
its not local unless one of the parallel importers jump onboard, which is quite likely

Aside from that, 3GB Ram, Octa Core, Decent GPU, 1080p screen, finger print scanner, metal body, quick charge, MM6.0 all sound like flagship features at a measily $180 USD.

Im interested to see if they develop a US/International market/version like the Asus and meizu m2 note.

At that price it seems too good to be true. What's the catch?

I don't think you understand what flagship means OP. Flagship specs would mostly stomp that spec, 1440p as a starter. 6050mah battery, I'll be surprised if you can lift it!

It might be an attractive spec for that price, but a flagship killer it will not be.

I'd be incredibly surprised if you find any IOS Bunny or Android loyalist considering a switch to this.

Doesn't look like it has NFC, which is something that I use. Otherwise it looks really good.

Well it's price to performance ratio is pretty good :)

But it's not a flagship.

Ulefone has history of lying about the specs. Also MTK6753 is weaker than MTK6752.

I very much doubt you'd fit a 6000mAh battery in a package that size along with the screen and other hardware.

Just do a quick compare with phone dimensions (size/weight/etc) on somewhere like GSMARENA, and you'll see that there are significant differences in battery capacity with most similar sized devices from respected manufacturers. For an approx same size and weight you simply can't get double the capacity......
And just that should be enough to make you think about the accuracy of some of the other published specs.

rofl, this guy

yeah perhaps not flagship killer. what about potential flagship market stealer?

the only thing id like is XT frequency, but work is vodafone so could be handy being dual sim.

i have read you cant see above a certain PPI and its below 300, so the screen is no biggy to me, also less PPI and brightness means more battery time, which is more important to me. but i realise some people use their phones as media devices. im pretty much a comms only kind of user, maybe the occasional web browse to search for an address etc

weight 190g, 50gm heavier than s6, oh boo hoo im really going to notice that. has anyone every lifted a galaxy note with a 10500 nolemon battery? thats heavy.

oxnsox why, its nearly phablet size?

would you say that of a 5000mAh phone? well the blu studio does it and already canes flagships for battery life.

As soon as their recommended resellers are EShop and Ali Express I could tell it was junk.

what if it turns up at NZ parallel import shops, still junk?

look im not preordering or anything but its pretty close to launch so im keen to see someone put it through its paces and see if it lives up to those specs, for $200, if it does, pretty hard to beat.
