Is there any known issues here?  Set up one handset, worked, 3 days later set up the second handset, well tried to, would not set up, put in all the correct details, it went to creating the account and came back unknown error.  on the same day, the first handset stopped getting corporate emails?

Could you please post more information when asking for help?

For example, what type of email is this? Exchange server, Google Apps? Is the mailbox accessible through a web-based email, or a desktop client? Is all working ok on those? Any password changes lately?

I have have intermittent issues with the Defy with work corporate Exchange account.  Every other device I have seems to happily connect to Exchange.  Unfortunately the Defy is far less reliable.

Fellow Telecom'er here - with the policies on Exchange around mailbox size, it is easy to have a full mailbox and then when you try to send emails from your phone, they will stick in your Outbox.  This seems more of an Android issue and specifically the Defy.

BTW - what ROM are you running? I have found than binning the factory one and going with cyanogenmod (CM7) that the device it a LOT faster, more stable and overall a better device.

Apologies, we use a microsft exchange server, it is accessable through a web based interface, and a desktop interface, it is working fine om these, and no password changes that i know of.  Another staff member has no problems syncing and he is using a samsung galaxy S2. the first one set up fine and syncd ok, but stopped on the same day that i tried to set up the second, where i put in all the correct data that worked for the first, i hit create or whatever, and it started processing that information, and then it comes back with unknown error.
