tardtasticx: Did any of you get a metal watch strap with your SmartWatch2? (those that got the SmartWatch2 anyway)

I was given my partners smart watch as he had no use for it, works fine with my Z, but I found the metal watch was getting caught on clothes and even arm hairs and would pull them out if i moved it suddenly. Was quite painful after a while so I stopped using it. Considering buying one online.

I haven't seen much online about this though, the picture of a watch posted above came with a plastic one by the looks of it? Is that any good?

Lol funny story, I got my free smart watch 2, it only worked for a day before it stopped working. The screen just went blank.

Guts, haha. Did you send it back?

No I couldn't be bothered, was free so it didn't mean much to me.

For the one day I used it, was actually really nice and I was definitely going to wear it all the time.

Did the plastic strap feel cheap/un-secure?

No update to 4.4 on my Z1 yet, I imagine it will take a while for it to roll out to NZ handsets.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

It seems that carriers might have already approved it..
I got mine today in Oz, and 2 Kiwis I know on telecom got theirs today.
Use the PC companion and not the OTA checker.

Awesome. Make sure you reboot after running it for a bit. Mine got hot, but a reboot fixed it.

I want to...  but "she that holds the finances" says no effing way. Joys of buying a house in a month. :/
After 4.4.2, I can't really see the point right now.
Maybe the Z3 in October.

Oh, well buying a new house is probably better than buying even 10 Z2s! :P

Just installed PC Companion but mine says "You already have the latest software". Which country did you choose when installing PC Companion?

hmmmm... dunno... lol
Only because we're renting it and the landlord wants to sell and we don't want to move.

I'd still love a new phone. ;p
