I wish Telecom would stop modifying the firmare so much. Especially the boot animation and the one that annoys me the most was renaming the browser to TWorld. Why cant they just leave it vanilla like Vodafone and 2degrees does. They shouldnt be allowed to change it, A Samsung Galaxy S device should be the same no matter where you purchase it from. This is where iPhone wins as every iPhone has the same software.

I want to buy a Samsung phone. If I wanted a Telecom phone id buy something like a Y300

Maybe it is just one app. but they dont really need to put it in. its just more bloatware. If someone wants spotify they can download it from the play store.   Why can't we have one NZ CSC and let all the networks test it before pushing it out and then everyone gets the update at the same time and everyones happy

I'm considering getting my s2 fixed because the y300 is so bad as a spare phone.

No point in spotify preloaded as you can just download the app....

Yep, I read 'preloaded' as 'installed into the system app folder' and so probably cannot be unistalled without root.

NL deal wins (unless it is not a class 10 card).

C
oncerning about the comments related to getting enough stock. The Z2 and M8 are delayed today, I will not be impressed if the S5 is as well, though this time last year retailers already had their stock.

Your orders will get cancelled, and even if they do go through you'll be waiting weeks

Good point, I ordered it but as you say it'll probably be cancelled. Can you elaborate on the waiting weeks part?
