If anyone's interested in the speaker that comes with the phone as part of clove's pre-order deal, I'll be selling mine as I don't need it. I should receive phone later this week some time next week at the latest.

Possibly interested, depending how much you want.

Did anyone else preorder from Vodafone get any sort of confirmation your getting a dock and headphones? Mine says nothing, Vodafone said I'd get notified by email but I get the feeling I got the I don't know fob off answer.

I intend to sell the speaker for $50. I'll announce it once I receive it, whoever is the first to PM me after the announcement gets it.

Looks like I will have to wait until Monday as I haven't had the call from the local vodafone guy who ordered one in for me yet today.

I see Noel Lemmings also have the z2 listed.

Anyone know where to buy the magnetic charging docks separately?

I believe Sony stores will have stock of the dock.

The Z2 fits in the Z1 dock just fine, so if those are available, go for it.

Get one from clove.co.uk. Cheaper than NZ and took less than a week to get mine here on the cheapest shipping option.

Been reading many reviews comparisons with the Z2, S5 and M8.

M8 out of the question for me due to the camera so it was always going to be between Sony and Samsung.  I'm currently with an S4 looking to upgrade.

I'm liking the more quality build of the Sony, it really makes the Samsungs look and feel so cheap and I prefer something solid to hold.  The only issue I have with the Z2 is it just seems rather big and doesn't feel as comfortable in hand.

The camera reviews seem mixed as both camera's appear great but the S5 seems to work faster and better in more lighting.  The Z2 only works in 8MP with the auto mode too but still great results.  Both would be great so I don't think either one will disappoint me.

Battery life seems mixed reviews also but both seem really up there so again I don't think either will disappoint.

I'm going to overlook the large size of the Z2 and take a leap.  Looking forward to the wireless charging plates due out sometime soon too.

Just a shame Sony has taken so long with this launch.

I bought an S5 just after launch which I have sold today. After playing with the Z2 for a while I was sold.

Apart from the pre-installed Vodafone software, would there be any problems with running the Z2 on 2 degrees?

A Vodafone Z2 should run fine on any NZ network.

The NZ variant is the D6503. :)

Got my unit sorted.  Sylvia Park Sony Store had units in stock since Thursday.  Will be picking unit up coming Monday 19th May as official release date is then.  Stoked.  Other people who's eager to get one I recommend going there or to nearby Sony Store.

No noise cancelling earbuds nor magnetic charging dock come with phone.  I think they do have noise cancelling earbuds for like $120 extra.  They don't have charging dock in stock yet.  Hope this info helps.

Cheers
