Sheagae: Does anyone notice the yellow band issue with the phone? Unfortunately looks like mine has it :(

Very minor here, acceptable trade off for the price of the phone.

I think I did have a slight yellow band when I got it but it disappeared after some time.

That's promising to know. I first noticed the yellow on Saturday which was a few days after having the phone.

I had the yellow band too, went to nail salon, put it under the UV light for 30mins. All gone :)

A lot of people online saying that didn't help. Might try it though.

anyone been daring enough to try the wireless charging mod? (http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/internal-wireless-charging-t2819398)

I have ordered a qi generic wireless charging pad from Aliexpress and will give it a try, I will report progress, (or that a cheap broken oneplus one is available)

I tried something very similar on my Oppo Find 5. Charging was so slow as to be pointless, can imagine it would be even worse on the One given it charges slowly with anything but the provided cable for me. I got two different pads and two different receivers and could not get good enough results to make it a viable option.

What's the max charging rate the OPO will charge at? Just wondering whether I should buy another charger before I get one as my s3 charger maxs out at about 1A.

I just sent all the codes out to the first 3. Hope you all have them now. Batwing gave me one of his which was very nice of him. My dad loves it - especially coming from Galaxy S3, where the battery life is now he charges every 3rd day instead of everyday and has excellent optics so he send me photos every few days. He was an amateur photographer in the past and he really likes it.

I have imported 2 x 64GB models - both had small yellow band on the screen but you can used to it pretty quickly. Don't beat yourself up because of that. No dead pixels on either ones. Love the customisation on it.

I am happy with my HTC M8 so sticking with it. My wife loves her Oneplus One too. The sound quality from headphone output is also very good and EQ works well. She listens to Spotify at work and mentions that it's way superior to Nexus 5.

Hope you guys enjoy your phones. Make sure you declare it at $299US.

Cheers
