rayray: Finally got my case from TradeMe. It's nicer than I thought. Nice smooth rubber matt black finish. It will protect the back from scuffs and scratches and maybe even shocks, but the front, top and bottom are quite exposed.

Agreed it is a good case and yes it is exposed, but it held up fine while my Spigen was in transit...

Speaking of which, received the Spigen this morning and it's definitely a step up in the protection department ie. all sides covered, soft tpu material which should absorb knocks more and it's not a fingerprint magnet unlike the TM case. VERY Happy and well worth the NZD$35 I paid for it from eBay.

You've just convinced me to get the Spigen case :) No harm in having two cases right?

Did the Spigen case from PB Tech come with a screen protector by any chance? That's next on the list.

LOL I have 3 cases now ;)

lagbort: Just grabbed the last of the Spigen cases from PBTech Wellington.

Seems pretty nice, certainly makes the phone less slippery, can actually take photos now without holding the phone in both hands!

Heh. I was eyeing that one up in the WGTN store :P

I rang them at 5 past 10 to get it put on hold so that none of you could get your grubby mitts on it :p

I think im going to wait another week or two for a case. Going to wait till more get released, the good get sorted out from the bad. Just hope nothing happens but if it does.... oh well.

How can I get all Emails as a notification?

I am fidning that when I receive an E-Mail, sometimes it will pop up as a notification instantly, other times there will be no pop up at all.

Thanks

Do you have more than one email account setup on the device, on mine for example every email that went to my Gmail inbox popped up as a notification along with the bong, however another IMAP account setup on the device doesn't receive any notification (the default for Gmail seems to be notify, but all other accounts default seems to be no notification) Easy enough to setup under Settings>Notifications>App Notifications>Mail (or whatever mail client you are using)

I see you can now buy from the Google Store, still waiting on PBTech, they say they are getting their stock on the 17th.

I see they must of updated the side bar code or something since it actually tells you what options are out of stock or not.

I messaged Google yesterday to tell them the sidebar on the store was broken, by this morning it was all working again.

My phone froze today.

I was playing around with the voice commands "Ok Google" and it loaded a web search. The screen/page was frozen for 10-15 seconds until it reset itself.

Pressing the hardware buttons did nothing either.

Ah the good old days of popping the battery out are long since forgotten, and fondly missed!

I have had that happen twice now with my 6P. Both times the screen froze (can't remember what I was doing) and then 10s later I see the little marshmellow splash screen and it is rebooting.

Mine must have restarted at some stage yesterday afternoon as I had to input my password to unlock it. There was no option for fingerprint.
