Hi guys.

This is now the official owners thread for discussion on the Google/Huawei Nexus 6P. This thread has been made to separate discussion on the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P. If you are still awaiting delivery for your phone, please use an existing discussion.

To the phone itself, wow this phone is amazing, quite an upgrade over the HTC One M7. Very excited to test the camera out because the sample images I have seen people put out sure do look amazing.

Has anyone got their 6P yet from Warehouse Stationery? Haven't been able to get any kind of ETA from them thus far.

I got mine from Warehouse Stationery this morning (pre-ordered last week). The phone feels amazing in hand and the fingerprint sensor is in the perfect spot

Battery dropped 2% overnight and overall I'm sitting at 50% remaining with 2h 40m screen on time. Coming from a Nexus 4 this is unfamiliar territory...

Is anyone selling cases in NZ yet? This aluminium back is very slippery...

Spigen case is available for pre-order. I am a bit hesitant to go with the cheap cases as it may not fit well.

Actually we probably can bulk buy Spigen cases if people interested to save shipping.

Bahah my deliberating burnt me.

Got quoted a week ago for 1079 at Noel Leeming with defence discount...didn't preorder it then...

Entered the 2degrees code into an order but then didn't check out, invalidated the code so now it doesn't work anymore...

Went back to Noel Leeming and the defence discount no longer changes the price.

Lol should have just pre ordered when I had the chance!

Will hopefully pick one up in Australia in 2 weeks...

Unless someone has a 2degrees code they didn't use and would kindly send my way...?

Been scouring the net and couldn't find specific info about the file size of the images (photos) and video created by this phone.  For video, I'd like to know what the size of a 1 minute clip is at 1080p and 4K.

Hope one of you proud owners can help me out.  This would help me decide if 64GB is sufficient for my purposes.

TIA

I saw these last week. They come in different colours.

I would wait until they release their next batch of cases. Apparently the first batch blocked the laser on the back, second batch fixed this but the usb charger doesn't fit through the case properly, so third batch should be the one.

be careful, most of the USB-C cables I have tested do not meet the specs

some of them are so bad, they can fry your USB host (ie PC) when you plug them in

My quick test has:
1 min @4K = 302MB mp4
1 min @1080p = 123MB mp4
