So, weirdest thing, usually when there is a new shiny toy, and particularly a smartphone, even if I say I can't justify it, don't think it's compelling enough, etc etc, by the time a day or two from release comes around, I've ordered one, and am waiting impatiently for mine. I am clicking refresh constantly on the courier delivery page etc and getting antsy as others describe their experiences. This time I am not at all that worried. I didn't pre-order, and with the sole exception of the 120hz phone, not sure I see any reason to move from my Note 10..

It's ok. I just did the same. One deciding factor was that the surface duo was going to be the same price as the note ultra 5g but it doesn't have 5g, fold 2 is 3k. Flip 2 isn't a better phone, or just did in your pocket.
So it was but this note it wait until the next one comes out. I caved.

Surface Duo is a nice idea but it's more of a product I'd look at in generation 2 or 3. Like how the Samsung Fold has come such a long way in only a year.

Exactly, and MS may be the most improved company but they are not going to get everything right on the first gen. If it was cheaper than a Note 20 I would still have brought one but it's not.

Thing is already 5 years outdated. It's a DOA product. Only thing that's preventing me from getting the Note 20 Ultra immediately is the impending Fold 2 announcement.

In a turn of events it turns out my order was never submitted by 2degrees over a week ago even though they’ve taken my upfront payment and set up for the next billing cycle. it looks as if I wish to have it submitted today I will not be getting it on launch but somewhere between 5-10 days.
