Not the case with my Note 5, has the spark logo on bootup + uninstallable spark apps

Same thing with my note 5.

Does anyone know if there's anywhere in chch that has note 8 screen protectors on the shelf already? Would like to have one ready to go when the phone arrives but to keen to buy sight unseen.
Pb tech have a few cases in store by the looks but don't appear to have any screen protectors according to their site as of last night

The hardware for the three NZ telcos will be identical, you can flash firmware relating to your specific carrier onto your phone using ODIN. OTA updates then continue accordingly. If the Note 8 firmware follows the lead of the s8/s8+ there could be an unbranded CSC for nz called xnz. You can easily disable apps like the spark/myvoda/2deg from within settings.

Pre-order shipments of the Galaxy Note8 will ship from Wednesday 20th of September, ensuring Note fans will receive their devices ahead of the pack.

Equipped with a bigger Infinity Display that fits comfortably in one hand, the signature S Pen and a dual lens camera - the Samsung Galaxy Note8 is the next level Note for people who want to do bigger things.

“New Zealanders tend to be early adopters of technology, which is why a premium, high spec and powerful device like the Note8 can thrive in this market. It’s an exciting moment for us to be able to deliver the best and most highly anticipated Galaxy Note we’ve ever created to the Kiwis who’ve waited patiently to upgrade,” Selwyn continued.

Samsung pre-order customers will also receive a bonus 256GB SD memory card, to take full advantage of the Note8’s expandable memory.

Can we get more info on this? Was this an email sent out to all Samsung pre order customers or?

Tripp, what's your thoughts on the Gear Fit2 Pro?

I have the Gear Fit2, not sure that it's worthwhile upgrading to be honest. But it sure looks good.

On another note, 7 more days to go for the Note 8!

I like it, dont have to take if off for swimming but if you have a fit 2 no point updating

I would not be happy with that!! Im picking mine up in store on Friday morning (status hasn't changed) and if they don't have it for me I will be asking for a refund and buying it else where.

I bought a LED view cover this morning for it.

Yes I did. I ordered on the 1st and for the same reason, best bonuses, bigger sd card, and I already have a wireless charger from when I had the note7

I ordered on Sept 6th. My order status is identical MissyMoo. It's been that way a while too.

I've not had any email or update at all. I selected to collect from my local store. I didn't want the delay of delivery time. They best have it this Friday! I want that dam phone! 😁😂

Id do the same, the whole idea of preorder is to get it first. If theres stock issues, tough, im going to your competitors.

Guys, can we be a little intelligent when quoting? There is no need to quote a picture the size of the Wellington region, or the 900 replies prior. Just quote what is essential for the person to understand what is being discussed.
