The Samsung transfer tool is pretty good and should make the switch back less painful. I know going from Android to Android is really a smooth process these days and I am sure it's not too bad for Apple to Android.

Personally I'd prefer money in the pocket than having freebies then go through the hassle of offloading them on TM or Marketplace.

Same, less hassle, unless you need that gift card or that watch... Or that scooter from PB, lol.
