Quinny: I got the 1-day S5, says sent (Chch) but no sign yet. Saw promo about 12.10 and just refreshed until one came free.

I'd strongly suggest the likelihood of seeing any in NZ prior to tomorrow would be slim to non existent.

My account manager at VF assures me he has mine! Now it's just to be determined what pound of flesh I will need to give up :)

Wonder how many will "go missing" due to sticky courier fingers.

FYI
I have been told by Telecom, their S5 variant is G900F.
Vodafone couldn't say but I notice there is a Vodafone International variant G900M - they may have that one.

All the S5s I have handled have been G900F as well.

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know if the USA spec Samsung S5 will work here in NZ? Telecom/skinny/ networks etc?  I just cant work it out!

I'm over in the States soon and thought I would buy one if compatible with the NZ networks.

I would wait to buy one here but my last samsung went for a swim and i need a camera on holiday!

Many thanks
Mike

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

May be best to avoid the USA ones as they may be carrier locked and also have a different version of 4G LTE. I'm sure johnr will confirm!

It's the quietest release of a Samsung flagship device I've ever seen!

Yeah I was hoping I would see pictures of people waiting outside the stores and then their initial impressions when they get given the box :)

That Stuff story is syndicated from AP, so you have a hard time finding that here in New Zealand.
