A few things that the guys at work have noticed: new Google logo and white background on the Google search bar, smaller text in the Messageing app, but when you tap a message the text is larger.

Would be good to get an official change log.

Nothing much to see different at the moment, version reports back as 5.0.2 Build 120FJN3

Yeah, the only things that seem to be different are the title bar and the Messaging app.

Does anyone know if the Prime will get 5.1 or 6? I asked Vodafone via Twitter a week or two ago and they didn't really know. Has anyone attempted to flash Marshmallow image onto the Prime, and if so how did it go?

OTA update doesn't seem to have fixed the native camera app not being able to save to SD card :(

Yeah it doesn't sound like much, but it is a pain.

We switched to googles own camera app after finding the white balance was way off with the supplied camera, unless used in HDR mode.

A bit of googling shows its common to many, and android may actually prevent apps writing directly to the SD in some cases, for some reason...

Apple doesn't have this problem, as you can't put in external storage in the first place.

Mine is refusing to update, checking it says it's already on the latest version but it still gives me the notification that there is an update? Is it that important or should I just ignore it.

Presumably this update includes security fixes for the likes of Stagefright?

Sure would be good to get some official (or even unofficial) word from Vodafone.

Android used to allow apps to write to the SD Card but due to security risks closed that option down with Lollipop (maybe even with Kitkat, I can't recall).

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

The camera app that I'm using can write to the SD card just fine.

In Settings > Storage there should be an option to change the Default save location / Default write disk. The Smart Ultra has this setting and early builds of the Smart Prime had it. unsure if its been added back in with the update though.

All comments are my own opinion, and not that of my employer unless explicitly stated.

I can't see any setting like that on my updated Smart Prime.
