GregM: Any word on Semble yet?

They've been working through the details, hopefully won't be long.

Thanks, I just bought one a few minutes ago and a Smart Prime for my wife.

I'm still keen on getting one but waiting until it's on sale

All comments are my own opinion, and not that of my employer unless explicitly stated.

Anyone else have the phone ring once and then go to voicemail? Two of my last three calls have done this.

Also, still waiting on news if there will be an update to fix the Stagefright vulnerability in the phone.

Mine works fine so far.

On another note: this phone doesn't work well with Line's notification feature.  Maybe its a bug with Line?

A popular free chat / call app that's mostly used by Taiwanese friends around me.  Personally I don't use it, but I'm in the IT Support business, so I get asked about all kind of things.

DSE is having $30 off so it is $269, and with Q card's 6months no payment promo on dse purchase it is really tempting for me to upgrade from nexus 4 8gb.. the 8gb with no expansion is driving me nut, have to delete photos every few month due to low storage :/

Dylan, are we going to see any update from 5.0.2 to 5.1 as well?  From what I've seen, this has been a popular phone world wide, so hopefully we get an update.

It's a ridiculously good phone for that kind of money, i simply could not go to a smaller screen or lessor battery life phone now, in fact it is probably time to sell up my old HTC One and grab another Ultra for the wife

I don't think I'll be spending thousands on a new phone anymore thanks to the VF ultra!

Noel Leeming has it for $249. Went to Warehouse Stationary and they priced matched and discounted it to $237! Insane deal! They said they were not sure if it worked on 2degrees, but it works fine. Doesn't work on spark/skinny however.

Is there any kind of stylus that will work well with this phone?

Someone on TradeMe is selling glass screen protectors for the Smart Ultra 6. Just a heads up for anyone who might be thinking of buying one: the one they sent me does not resemble the one pictured in the listing, and appears to be designed for a different phone. It's the right width, but shorter in length. Instead of a hole for the speaker, there is an over-sized notch, which does clear the speaker, but also an area next to it which corresponds with nothing in particular. According to the seller, the reduced length is to enhance case compatibility (makes no sense) and the enlarged cut-out is to clear the sensors (which it doesn't, because they're on the other side).

Why is it that my Moto G, which is on the same version of Android, has received the latest Google app update (with the horrible new Playskool aesthetic) while this phone has not.
