Hmm I'm not sure the colour to go for but violet does look good.

Finally stopped dithering over it and pulled the trigger. Ordered 2 512Gb Ultras via the Samsung EPP, one for me and one for my wife. Came down to $1981 each with the EPP discount (shows as $2081, then it took another $100 off at the checkout) which seems really good compared to the $2699 RRP. Weren't bothered about the freebies at other shops so just went for the best price. Also includes screen protector, case and power adapter.

We're not ones who upgrade every year so since we're upgrading from S9 and S10 (or for me technically bottom of the range A04 since I dropped and broke the S10 just before Xmas) we'll be aiming to get 5-6 years out of them again so figure we'll go for the top model.

Did you use Afterpay? I wonder why it gave you another $100 off at the checkout?

Update: Laybuy not Afterpay. It does give you an additional $100 off.

No, used interest free with Q card. I wondered if it was because I registered my email for the launch event so still got that $100 off or just because of the particular EPP I'm in (Government employee).

I think the extra $100 discount would have been from the launch event pre-registration via a discount code (assuming you entered one at checkout).

No, I believe it's separate and additional. You also get 1 year of Samsung Care+ and $100 off with the pre-registration code.

It said the code was invalid, but did work when I went as far as checkout through the normal store to compare pricing. So I figure you can't use that as well as the EPP discount. So I guess the $100 was either due to the payment method or the particular EPP group.

Love the fold, my favorite device. But many reasons to upgrade to the S24 Ultra mate, Brilliant flat screen, much better camera, better battery, great design, more accessories.

But still love the fold to bits though, if anyone is looking for one i will be selling.
