Have had the update for nearly a week here on optus. Havn't noticed any battery increase unfortunately. Pretty meh update for me, slightly faster fingerprint read, other than that no noticeable changes

Not to much, I think finger reader is faster. Battery life is better when idle, overall quicker and more stable.
Oh you need a pin to unlock from power off, I haven't had much of a chance to see if Bluetooth is better with my ute.

Got my Spark update to 6.0.1 just now and its a epic fail for me, phone boots up to main desktop screen, then after about 7 seconds or so will just reboot instantly without warning, stuck in a loop.

My VF one got 6.01 in the weekend. It was seamless. Not sure I love it entirely, the grey bar at the very top with the notifications and time is distracting to me (Any fix?) but annoyingly my email sync broke twice and now for some reason I have SMS messages in my email folder as well! (Any fix?)

SMS in Inbox would just be the "sync messages" option in the mail account settings, same screen where you choose contacts, calender, talk etc

it seems faster/smoother, although i was annoyed last night when i put my phone on the wireless charger and it had a advertising message from placemakers on it - on the wireless charging screen -

i havent looked into that yet to see how to get rid of it.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

That's very strange, I would expect "messages" to be email messages. Having said that I have now turned off that sync.

it seems the ads im getting on the wireless charging lockscreen since the upgrade is actually from ES File explorer, not the update itself.

The downsite to being on a ROM that's been dropped by the Dev, still on 5.1 and not sure I can arsed updating the modem and radio to a 6.0 build and going to a new ROM. Will just wait for the Note 6 in August. Doesn't sound like MM is that great anyway.

That's odd, I don't get the same issue. Disabling data removes the 4G symbol for me.

A reboot fixed it and also updated the battery % down to about 43%.

Upgraded to Marshmallow, now every half an hour or so I get caught out by the fingerprint scanner and I get a "Try again in 30 seconds or 60 seconds". It's so rage inducing!

Anyone know how to get rid of this crap?
