Anyone know which features on the Pixel Watch 2 require a Pixel Phone? I know Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 requires a Samsung Phone, like the ECG (as u need the Samsung apps for it to work).

My Pixel Watch 2 arrived yesterday - it's pretty nice. Mine dispatched last Thursday, when did you do your preorder?

I ordered pixel watch 2 part of the pixel 8 pro on 6th October 2023 via Amazon UK and standard shipping. Mine is matt obsidian

I had a split shipping . Phone by DHL and watch by standard shipping. Watch was suppose to be delivered by 21-27 October.

And mine just got delivered! Watch and phone arrives together. Although the packaging from Amazon is bad, just a cardboard slip with the retail packaging loose inside, no protective wrapping!
Charging up the phone now before turning on, came with 65%, but everything seems untouched despite the packaging.

Word of warning, eSIM transfer doesn't work with 2degrees (possibly other carriers too)
If transferring data from your old device to the new one, the sim cards become disabled.

Now a trip to the 2degrees store to get eSIM setup (probably have to wait for tomorrow because I don't have my photo ID with me today )

Hmm my DHL tracking has been updated to "Shipment is on hold

AUCKLAND - NEW ZEALAND "

Anyone else have this? I've submitted form via DHL to customs, I believe i've already covered all customs duties/tax on the amazon order itself as Amazon automatically takes it.

edit: I figured it out, i'd provided a copy of ID and DHL must have stuffed up & not passed it on grrr
