It said the code was invalid, but did work when I went as far as checkout through the normal store to compare pricing. So I figure you can't use that as well as the EPP discount. So I guess the $100 was either due to the payment method or the particular EPP group.

Just to resolve this I've just been back through as far as checkout to check and the extra $100 off was for using Q card. It takes $100 off if you select laybuy or Q card.

I was told verbally, that you can extend the vouchers a week prior to expiration with no issue. Otherwise they are valid for 60 days.

Also, get them to note on your invoice you get both coupons, as it's not clear from their orders, if you'll be in the first 1000 to order.

Checked just an hour ago and didn't see a system update but there were 20 or so updates from the Samsung Store - one might've been the camera (I have 14.1.00.61 today).
