pmnz:

Still nothing on the green ultra, very annoying

Nothing on my JetBlack either, still stuck on "Processing" while Mum and Wife both have theirs.

My mint green S25 arrived yesterday and I got it set up last night. The colour and the new shape of the phone is great - looks really smart. I used the SmartSwitch app and a USB cable to transfer everything over from my S23 - took around 30 minutes all up. Then spent an hour or so logging in to each app and tweaking things. OneUI 7 is really nice, everything feels snappy, and the whole experience feels nice and modern. I bought a clear magnetic case and a standard silicone case, both have a silver lining around the camera lenses which make the cases look smart. But the clear magnetic case doesn't feel very durable - I'll probably switch to an Otterbox case once there are some more options available. Also keen to pick up some magsafe accessories now.

Congrats - glad to hear some greens are being sent out!

When did you place your order and was it directly with Samsung?

Yes, direct with Samsung through the EPP store on the launch day.

A warning. Do not fall for Facebook scams. This is a "S25 Ultra" running Android 13. And only $250.

It's not a Samsung S25 Ultra.

Sad, still waiting at the depot since 4am yesterday,  was hoping to get before public holiday tomorrow.

Via EPP store.

Just called Samsung support to see if I could get an ETA on my order and determine if there was a backlog for the green phones.

Rep was basically useless, simply telling me that my order was being processed (which I already knew) and that he did not know when it would be shipped. He knew nothing about any of the colours being in short supply.

Probably 10 steps removed from anyone actually involved.

Do some of the courier companies still deliver normal deliveries even on a public holiday or they just skip?

I ever only experienced this on the Christmas period of overloaded distribution. I wouldn't expect people to do deliveries on other public holidays.

Disclaimer: I'm in no rush to receive my phone. I purchased because the trade in for me was lucrative. It is fairly sloppy not having the pre orders out before you can walk in to a store and buy one in my opinion.

Not too impressed with the new screen colour settings - I know Samsung have been transitioning to a more "natural" look for several years now, but when directly comparing the same image on an S24 and S25, the S25 image is definitely duller - it has considerably less pop, it's more washed-out and less contrasty no matter what changes I make in the screen settings page.
