Far out, the 16GB/1TB Model of Black, has just gone up to 1899 USD.

Orange is somehow still on 1699 USD

Any news on usage, any issues found?

Did you manage to find a OneNZ/Vodafone sim at all to try?

Where are your ratings so far on a 0-10 scale about the phone?

No real issues, smooth and responsive OS, like everything else these days

Haven't sourced a One NZ sim, will keep trying today.

Its a solid device, the battery life is absolutely mental for an Ultra phone. Camera is...solid, nothing wow about really but haven't had a full in-depth play with it. I prefer my Xiaomi in that regards at the moment, that Leica processing is better than anything and the lowlight shots on the 1" sensor are best in class.

The haptics are great, I prefer the softer use of them, speakers are good but not as loud as my Xiaomi, screen is sharp and bright. Its probably the first phone I've had where I feel like a case would ruin, it really doesn't feel like it needs one due to the unique finish.

Havent had any issues with fogging at the moment, and she's cold as balls this morning in Christchurch.

All-in-all, I would say its the most well rounded Ultra phone available at the moment.

Easily the best battery, top two OS, probably the nicest looking in my opinion, 1B/1C in the camera department (though needs to reduce the AI over usage, but you can mitigate that by shooting in master mode and the video recording needs some work) and the XPAN photos are stunning, easily my new addiction for photography.

There isn't realy a lot I can fault with the phone at this point, anyone that gets this phone and is disappointed has shockingly high expectations.

@Thorak, I know it's still early days but now that you've had the X9U for a few days to play with, are you still contemplating on trying the X300U?

@Thorak did you end up finding anything with the shipment as to the declared values etc?

Curious if they can slip the Camera + Telephoto lens kit, in the same shipment through, or if that is just too risky...

I will, but that's more phone addiction than not liking the Oppo lol.

Nope, I have looked at every piece of documentation and not a single thing has the value noted on it. Simply "Smart Phone"

Ha - wonder how they do it. Maybe treating it as a gift, so the recipient does not get access to the declarations?

Any Vodafone / OneNZ sim success yet by chance?

Surely has to be ok if the others are ok right?

Don't 2D and OneNZ piggy back?

Given they sell Oppo phones officially, I don't see why it would have problems with the Ultra
