Holding off on grabbing one from eBay in the hope the SIII will reduce the price.

Kopkiwi: Any of you Note owners intend on selling and getting the SIII?

I will definitely be getting an SIII, remains to be seen whether I will be selling the Note - depends if the SIII has what it takes!

Well i bought it from bond and bond three weeks ago. I bought it for just over 1000. Also have a flip cover that i got imported which i will give too with the phone. But by no means iam expecting 1000 for it. Definitely something reasonable.

well if the SGS 3 isn't what rumors are saying I'm up for the Note, been plying with them at Noel Leemings over the last 3 weeks and they are great. The size is off putting for a short time but with my old eyes it helps a lot.

I really like my SGS 2 so looking forward to the next few months to see what happens.

Does anyone else have issues with the double-tap on the lockscreen to trigger the S-Memo application? I find I have to do it several times before it'll eventually register.

Double tap on home screen seems to work fine for me to launch S Memo. You do have to have the button on the side of the stylus pressed while you double-tap.

kind regards Andrew TD

I decided to stick MidNote 3.3 (ICS) onto my Note, and it does seem to be a fair bit snappier than when I first tried the initial ICS leak.

It is not however without its "quirks" - anyone had a play with any of the more recent ICS knock-ups and can say which ones are good?

Many seem to be heavily AOSP/AOKP based which seems to have the potential for greater issues I would've thought.

Finally managed to work out how to slave my wifi connection on the note to my HP Touchpad via bluetooth, small victories.
