I have the original, no dock. The dock makes it into a pseudo laptop, without it it's a regular tablet, and it's still a good option.

Be aware that the TF101 doesn't play well with ICS. Asus are fixing it up, but many people are random reboots while it's in standby. The latest firmware mostly fixed it for me, but not completely.

mattRSK: Is it possible to view online streaming such as http://today.ninemsn.com.au/livestreaming.aspx on this tablet?

Not natively that site requires Silverlight or Windows media player.

There is another new OTA update out today for the tf101 with the .24 kernel. Hopefully the reboot days are over.... Fingers crossed....

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

It's not available to me yet, I'm usually a few days behind others to get updates. The article I saw said it's US only for now, worldwide within a week.

Does the prime need a screen protector?

Am going to get a prime just wondering if it needs a protector? wouldn't move my phone without one on, but that goes in pockets and is moved around alot. where as the prime would rarely leave the house and if it was moved would have the keyboard covering the screen.

Any ideas?

I bought screen protectors for my TF101 but never bothered to fit them, I've never hurt the screen. I still have them somewhere, if anyone wants to buy 'em at my cost.

You should be fine without. I leave mine attached to the dock. Then its closed and in a case when not in use.
