k14: Anyone decided what case they are going to get yet for the 6P? I am 50/50 if I should get one. On one hand, the phone is massive and adding any extra size will make it even more difficult to hold. But on the other hand aluminium prone to being a bit slippery at times (specially with slightly sweaty hands) and if it gets dropped it will be dented very easily. Hard choice.

No case for me. I hate covering well designed, premium products with cheap plastic. In my mind it's like leaving the plastic bag on the sofa.

That said, there are a range of cases available direct from Google that may be worth checking out:

This one at least keeps the Nexus branding:

I'm going to get a Spigen case, more specifically this one: http://www.spigen.com/collections/nexus-6p/products/nexus-6p-case-rugged-armor

I'm also getting the screen protector from them, but I will be paying PBTech to apply it to the phone $10 for a perfect job is worth it.

The best way to apply the screen protector is to have it before you have the phone.

I applied it as soon as I remove the original plastic cover. I had someone at vodafone store did it for me - oh my I really hate the result and I can't sleep well the whole night until I went to get another screen protector haha.

Yeah I am getting everything from PBTech and they are going to apply the screen protector before I get the phone.

Do you have any links for the PBTech stuff? I cant seem to find it. Cheers

I think that the

Nexus 6P Folio  would be the best as it's light weight and turns on and off the screen..

I wish it had sole slots for a couple of cards in the cover though.

I came to the thread because I was going to ask what the "Flip cover" cases were called, I am interested in getting one.

I am not paying $80 for a case however.

Is there any cheaper ones out there?

It's not listed yet, contact at PBTech says they will get everything in a week or so.

Cant seem to find any other "Flip/Folio" cases besides the official google one. I did find a couple on Amazon, but looks like they block out some of the sensors IIRC.

I don't mind if it doesn't have a wallet inside of it, just thought I would try a different kind of case this time around.

Failing this I will head towards Dbrand, although they don't have the flip cases (That I can see)

I have had glass screen protectors on my last two phones and cannot speak highly enough of them.

They are very easy to fit with no bubbles (check on youtube) and I have also experience how protective they are - I dropped my Nexus 5 face down onto some sharp stones. The glass protector shattered and left my screen in perfect shape.

I have been so looking forward to the 6P (Nexus user from way back 4, 5, 6 and 7) that I have read 100 reviews, all of them good including a couple of iFan reviews saying that the N6 is better value than the 6S Plus.

Nexus 6P durability test, bit of an eye opener; you may want to get a case with the phone.
