Getting really annoyed with Noel Leeming now! Having pre ordered (and paid) last Saturday and being told it could be 2 weeks away (worst case) I go in there after work tonight and was told ‘We’re not expecting more stock for another 3 months due to world-wide shortage’. Where are they getting their information from? Seems other peoples orders are coming through, even the blue model.

Considering getting a refund and going elsewhere even if it does cost me $100 more…

Rang Noel Leeming Tory St just now and they're still saying middle of the month...not sure if this is their standard line or the truth.

Seems odd if other retailers have them already and they're all being sourced from the one supplier.

not sure on VF but I am expecting my XT 16gb white tomorrow morning

I'm annoyed with 2Degrees in Manakau. I ordered last Sunday (Being told it sold out just the day before). Was told to expect it last week or this week guaranteed. Went in Sunday just to get an update, and was told to it'll be ANOTHER 3 weeks.

Was a different guy then who signed me up, so not sure if it's just what they're telling everyone or if it's a real update.

How much and where from? can you connect USB OTG and MHL simultaneously?

From Clove, stupid proprietary version of a connection standard so pricey. Recommend waiting until third party ones arrive for like a third the cost.

Of course you can't use MHL and USB OTG together, they are still mutually exclusive connections at the hardware level.

NL is source from the same supplier(BrightPoint) as JB Hifi and Vodafone NZ. But I think NL getting lower priority than JB or Vodafone or they are just playing Jedi mind tricks to make you confuse like me.

I am no less confused and frustrated as you my friend. The 16GB is available with JB store but their Online site still saying Awaiting Stock. So does the 32GB version. And NL only have a few to send out to their preordered customers in May and do not have any solid date on when it will arrived other than 16-18 June as a guestimate ETA. Those date can easily be slipped toward July or August or even to the year 2020. All we can do is wait and meditate our patience looking forward to Friday to decide our S3 destiny.

stock was being held by brightstar, at the request of their powers that be, they never actually had "no stock' they were not releasing it to the likes of NL etc until they were told to do so, thats what my brother was told by his brightstar contact on friday last week, so the standard line of "mid june or 2 to 3 weeks' is accurate in so much that, that is the offical line they were given from their suppliers..stock for preorders plus additional units for shop stock was put in today, this morning, so everything was being released tonight and tomorrow via courier

The store is in Dunedin by the way. Anyone else here ordered from NL Dunedin (they had quite a few orders apparently) and heard differently?

That's pretty much what I said to them. I pointed out that JB Hi Fi and Warehouse stationery have stock (white and blue) and the reply was 'oh they must have some parallel imports' ???

all evidence on this forum suggests over the next few days you are likely to get it! I was getting conflicting stories from telecom then the person managing the pre-orders called and said it was on its way to me. If concerned at least talk to someone whos looking after this stuff!

I got my blue one from NL Tory St on Friday, pre-ordered the Saturday prior.

Would love a copy of your receipt captainsteve so I can take into my local Noel Leeming as proof that the blue ones actually exist and Noel Leeming are delivering them!

Could the 32GB version be one of them? I highly doubt that it would be though. Most likely just the silly 16GB version like the rest of the retailers in town.

I phoned the NL in Tristram Street, Hamilton today and was told by the woman on the phone (after giving my invoice number) that it was listed as arriving on the "30th of June" - which is apparently a standard time length for preorders of any nature, but that it was expected to be "sooner", although no indication in the system she was looking at of when exactly that could be.

So - I'm hoping (based on this forum, who's getting their phones and nzviking's posts) that my 16GB Pebble Blue will arrive tomorrow or Wednesday, but then again....

my time frame is the end of the month before I get annoyed, its only been under 2 weeks since it was released and given the time it took to get the S2 here I think we are doing very well.

Seems to a lot of disinformation coming in which is getting some concerned but I think we need to be realistic in our times here given other countries are having supply issues as well. Its not like the people that sold the pre orders are doing this intentionally as I'm sure they would rather not have people ringing them every other hour.

I am more than annoyed with NL, I told them I would cancel the order and get a full refund they understood and agreed to do that, apparently they have none in NZ so the deadline of 5 to 7 days is unlikely to be met. Annoying when Vodafone have stock but I am not prepared to pay the earth over $1000 just for a phone.
