Sorry bit out of topic, If anyone using GoSMSPro please help me.

If you blacklist someone, it hides all the messages from that person from the inbox. So I was wondering while you had this person blacklisted and she texted you, will i receive those texts after I un-blacklist/ remove from blacklist?

Please help!

I have been using it for a couple of days on new DlevROM, just for the UC while in sleep and charging, battery life is responding well by initial looks, early days, got the settings from a page on xda. Didn't save the link

I know it didn't respond well to the Battery save option Lockups so have it set conservative and 5000 - 2000 for both max on normal to 10000 - 2000.

woooo hoooo thanks to defragger in the i9000 thread, ive managed to get the stock firmware for the Telecom 9100T. In fact you can also get the Vodafone one as well :-)

Down the Vus downloader, change settings to Android, Country to NZ and then select GT-9100T and then select TNZ. If you select "Test" then i believe that reveals future firmwares not visible via Kies

Hit download and you're away. Flash with Odin. I like the look of the Galaxy Nexus so may sell my S2. Will do more research and wait for NZTechfreak's reviews before deciding. I wouldnt mind the slightly bigger screen and fine going from 8MP camera to 5 on the Nexus.

Brendan: Just thought I'd let everyone know a little about a new ROM for the galaxy S2.

NDT MIUI

For a few hours now, i have been using the "NDT MIUI GINGER 2.3.7 MULTILANG SUPPORT V4.0[MIUI 1.11.04]" (android 2.3.7). This is the first version of MIUI I have used on the i9100 (I had previously used MIUI on the Desire and the i9000).

I had been waiting for a reasonably robust and complete version of MIUI to appear for the i9100, and this seems to be it. Everything seems to be working (I have not tested Bluetooth). Camera, camcorder, fm radio, bln, external SD card, etc.

Installation is simple - use CWM after wiping and clearing delvik cache. It also installs the newer version of CWM, and is happy to use the KG5 modem.

In use, I have been pleased with the finished feel of it and the facilities. In appearance, it is quite similar to iOS, but it has a great deal more than looks to offer. It's very tweak-able (unlike iOS lol), fast and capable.

NO SMASUNG BLOAT...

Battery usage seems ok, too early to tell really. I have also flashed the latest siyah kernel onto it (2.1.1), and it runs well.

Anyway, if you would like something different to Samsung based ROM's, give this a go. I would be interested to hear your reviews of it - it's still early days for me with this ROM too.

MIUI is based on late build cyanogen mod, and so is very fast, with a completely different user interface and theme. The cwm file for it contains a boot image, but the author says it does not install a new boot loader...

Anyway, it's working for me.

seems to be some discontent recently on that forum Brendan, mainly about overheating although I had read on another thread about camera issues with it but all the same it looks interesting.

Is there anyone out there with an un-rooted Telecom S II and a Exchange Server 2010 backend that can confirm is SMS Sync (see image) is enabled. I've seen this on a rooted S, but wanting to see if this is a out-of-the-box feature of the S II (third party implemenations come with "challenges").

Anyone able to recommend something?

Dlev's ROM all the way. . . . I hear Checkrom is pretty solid too.

And Gokhan's Siyah Kernel is the one to beat too, especially as Hacre has chucked his toys and stopped Ninphetamine development.

Yes, that's it - and yes, I believe this particular version is a wipe. . . .but if you're coming from another ROM you should always wipe IMO, as it saves potential issues with framework files etc (graphical glitches, FC's).

And yes, there are quite a few themes for it here, by the wonderful Sileshnair:

Strange.

I don't have any overheating problems and the camera seems to work just fine (video too). Battery isn't as good as some of the better rom/kernel combinations - but then I have found you need to run a rom for a week to truly know. It lasts about 2 days for me. Maybe 3. I am using the latest Siyah kernel and KG5 modem with it.

I like the new look and feel. It seems to be quite polished and flexible, and I have great hopes for further improvement. It's also very fast and light on the memory, and has a lot more tweak able bits lol. Info about the system is more in depth - there are several pages about what is using the battery for example.

The theme editor is fun too. Lots of pre-built themes, or you can edit your own, mixing and matching from the ones you download.

I've tried all the populat ROM's on XDA - any that remain on the front page. Checkrom, Dlev, criskelo, villian, etc. and will likely try them again at some point. That's the fun of being able to flash a new rom eh - lol. I never stay with anything for more than a few weeks. Get bored...

But currently, I am enjoying MIUI.

You might want to look at VillianROM 3.0. It's been out a few weeks now, but that means there are fixes for any problems (and there weren't many to start with). It has it's own, large, support forum and seemed solid to me. I used it for a month, which is unheard of for me. Put the siyah kernel in it. No tweaky stuff to play up - but it is addable with a villianrom app if you want.

The only reason i stopped using it is it was soo stable I got bored lol.

Chriskelo's rom is also good, lots of extra features.

RevolutionHD was more recent, and just fine.

Really, you could pick any on the first page of XDA development forums that have more than 20 pages of feedback and likely get a good one.

I am also on Delev3.1 and the Siyah 2.1 kernal, battery life seems good but I never turn anything off, always have wifi and bluetooth on. Bluetooth seems rock solid, I use it for music through my BT car stereo , file transfer occasionally and a remote SonyEricsson headset adaptor, hasnt missed a beat.

I would be keen to hear if anyone has tried CM7 yet?

I'm still running with good ol' Cognition 1.5.1. It's working well for me, and I'm kinda reluctant to play much with it. I'm not aware of any significant changes between 2.3.4 and 2.3.5 that aren't at kernel level, so I'm sticking with "ain't broke, don't fix it" for now.

Most of my phone customisation lately has been with kernels. I've been using various versions of Siyah for a while, but I'm not sure if the battery life is really any better than other kernels or not. I'm giving the latest SpeedMod a go as a comparison.

Gahhh, wondering if anyone here can help me.

I turned my SGS II off this morning (running stock 2.3.5) and when I turned it back on after a few minutes it seems to be locked showing the startup screen. Basically loops around over and over again. Have removed battery/sim card/sd card to see if that helps, but no dice.

Any suggestions? I just got to work, so next step is to google this problem, but thought I'd tap the brains trust first. Thanks in advance.
