OK, so to say what I've got to so far:

USB OTG cable works, although function thusfar seems limited to drives (and anything larger than a pendrive will need to be plugged into an externally powered hub in order to work).

Just recorded some 1080p video to the internal memory, and also to my Class 2 32GB Sandisk card - can't see a difference between them (on the phone at least, will need to verify with some more recordings and on the PC), so seems sufficient for the tasks at hand.

1080p full flash content plays back flawlessy in the browser, despite the warning that its not optimised for mobile use :)

Bluetooth keyboard and mouse work well, as they did in the original SGS.

TV Out does not work via the 3.5mm jack, had to check despite that connectivity not being in the specs sheet.

Still playing...

Yeah :( unless we put VPN settings in?  I might have to try that this afternoon.  Looks like a really good app!

really liking the phones screen and touch screen sensitivity.  The original galaxy s felt like really smooth glass, this feels like silk.

Quadrant just got a 3280 although haven't reset it and had programs running in the background, will try a reboot soon and see how it goes.

The social hub seems good too.  Although I usually hate them, this one seems more usable.  Similar to the Sony Xperia hub

Voice recognition seems alright, although it doesn't always detect me(probably need to pronounce things a bit clearer for it)

Cameras are excellent, but definitely need anti-shake turned on.  Without it even while holding it steady it looks slightly blurred round the edges.  The 2MP front actually takes really sharp photos with it's fixed focus lense.

APN settings magically appeared...not even sure how they did.  Didn't need to install them at all(didn't even have it on Wifi or connected to my gmail account at that stage)

The touch features seem interesting, but a bit useless, apart from the Flip over.  When the phone rings you flip it, within a few milliseconds it cuts off all sound :) it's great!

Favourite phone I've had yet, only phone that's really managed to wow me out of the box!

Will try PSXDroid and a few other things on it today, when I can be bothered moving things from my old Galaxy S(it's sitting next to it, on it's home screen, looking awkwardly at my Galaxy S II)

Word of warning, some people are reporting additional battery drain when using social hub. I just didnt bother setting it up, prefer looking at things in there respective apps

Does the phone/android have the ability to use VPN's for individual apps? Or even when trying to access certain IP addresses? I have a UK and US VPN available to me and would love to get them up and running on the phone, once it arrives, too.

Thats a good point about APNs, mine were automatically populated too.

I get about 3200 on quadrant also, but again, thats after running all sorts of stuff and with things running in the background...

Mine arrived just before 11.

I haven't popped my SIM card in yet. I'm still looking for the best way to migrate data from my old Nokia. If the WiFi was still working I'd be able to sync my contacts/calendar with Google. Looks like I'll have to search around a bit.

As for the phone... damn, I like it! It's so smooth, it's hard to make it slow down at all. The screen is a gem, so big and bright. It's going to be hard to work with this thing sitting beside me!

I'll try and post an unboxing/first thoughts review on my blog tonight.

Try post a video of the 1080P Auto focussing, damn it's fast! must be due to the dual core proc.  You shift subjects and it refocusses very quickly, quicker than my 720P point and shoot at home in fact!

I'm forcing myself to do as much work as possible, so I can go home and downgrade my old Galaxy S, then upgrade it through Kies before I give it to the wife

Try this thread:

It really depends eh, sometimes you get charged, sometimes you don't.

most people have paid between $950-1200(I paid $957 and that's all I paid)

Just wondering if anyone else is going to put a case on theirs?  I've got a TPU clear one, but I'm finding it too good looking to put it into the case yet...I just wonder if I'll regret that later on if I drop it

I don't do cases or screen protectors, never have. Mostly thats been fine, apart from my Touch Pro, which I dropped the day I listed it to sell, collected a nasty gouge in the process.

Just run all the benchmarks I know of, super results. Was interested in the benchmark for the internal SD - 18MB/s write, 23MB/s read.

Wow, I'm amazed at the speed.  But I don't think they've included the Cisco stuff they were apparently going to put in?  Which was part of which I was looking forward to most:
ie: the VPN client and the VoIP client

Mobicity had a choice of free gift, and I chose the leather case for lack of a better option. It's holds the phone ok, but the clip is facing the wrong direction for attaching to anything. If you were to clip it onto a belt, the case would hold the phone in a portrait orientation, which is awkward for removing the phone.

I think I'll just stick with putting it in my pants front pocket. I've got a metal business card holder for my payment cards, driver's license, etc, and the two don't take up much room at all. So much better than the nasty bulge my N80 makes.

Once InvisibleShield release a version i'll probably get one of them. I don't use screen protectors but quite like the skin option sometimes. I'll see how the phone feels after a week or so of careful use before making a decision. I stay away from bulky cases like the plague, i'm not interested in making a thin phone fat.
