Wouldn't bother with GPe personally, Moto G virtually stock with very inoffensive additions that add value. Given the alacrity of the 4.4 release for the regular Moto G cannot really see the point of a GPe here at all.

Apparently going to be available in NZ for $299 from the 21st of January at the usual retailers and 2degrees. Pretty sharp price, minimal markup compared to the usual NZ price gouging.

That is a spectacular price - should replace pretty much anything else at similar price.

Also the flip cover is great - wife loves it.

Thats a great move by Moto, I hope it sells well, then they might bring us the International X as well.

Man, awesome it's coming here. Wonder where the 'only WP is worth it at the low end' folks are gonna go crying to now.

Definitely very exciting news. I want to get one as a spare.

Going to cost me around$270 to land one here, at $299 I wouldn't have bothered bringing one in. Great price if it's true.

So is that $299 for the 8GB or 16GB version?  I know which one I'm guessing it'll be...

Yeah, I am guessing the 8gb version.
$50 margin profit for the 16gb version is way too low...

Pretty sure it won't be costing them $200 USD - that is the retail price in the USA so they would be making more than $50 profit even selling the 16GB for $299
