Thanks for the heads up. Just checked now that I’m back with fast wifi (2.2GB download) and installing.

The screen protector on my Fold Z3 started coming apart from the glass on the center fold. It goes from the top all the way to the middle.

Anyone else using theirs without the screen protector?

Wouldn't recommend it.

The SP adds a lot of structural integrity to the display.

Samsung replace for free. I personally would just do that.

I have had my screen protector replaced in the last month (2 Nov) See post #2990953 . Same failure mode as Mauricio’s. It started at the top, but within a day had spread right down the fold.

To clarify, Samsung will replace it the first time. After that it costs $50 (and + $30 if you replace front screen protector as well). I am lucky because the Samsung Service Plaza is only a ten minute drive away and they did it while I waited (approx 20 minutes). I know people who happily use the ZF3 without a protector, but not me.

The technician said they have a machine specifically for applying the protectors to the Fold screen.

Yes, I will try the walk-in option in Wellington as advised via PM. Likely will do it next week.

Not yet - I wasn't sure dropping the phone just before xmas would see it coming back quickly enough. Will do in early January.
