My S24U just arrived, after no confirmation from OneNZ. Just happened to check after seeing the courier deliver to work. #UnproductiveDayAhead

New Phone day today hopefully. HN still wouldn't guarantee me stock from the first batch as of 5pm yesterday.

Would be disappointing if I didn't. Looking forward to a 3 day weekend to set it up and get used to it. Have listed my S23Ultra Green 256 at $1350 if anyone is interested.

The Samsung online/EPP order tracking experience is wonky.🙄

It still says no tracking info available when you click on the track order button.

However when you access via the links within the dispatch email on the phone, only then do you get the up to date tracking info which also shows the CourierPost tracking number.

It is a beauty. The uniform bezels is a major win for neurodiversity 😂

Smart Switch seems a lot smarter now too. It handled everything including the setup of my Good Lock tweaks such as One-Handed Operation+, including all the custom swipes I had set up.

Is there no way to disable this bar at the bottom now, even if circle to search is turned off? I would not mind if it was just a transparent bar overlaid on the app ui but it looks like they are actually reserving screen realestate for it. Do I have to Nova again?

I don't have that bar. The apps button seem to be assigned to Copilot - perhaps that's a side effect? Remove Copilot and see if the bar is gone?

Or is that a different app?

It's the os. I don't use the navigation buttons and use swipe gestures instead. You used to be able to disable the bar at the bottom but now cannot because it's tied to circle to search. I have heard it being talked about in YouTube videos but didn't realise they actually segment the bottom of the screen for the bar.

Getting jealous seeing the photos of people with them already. Mine is still showing as "preparing order" from Samsung. Shouldn't have dithered for so long before ordering haha.
