got myself one since my nexus 4's touchscreen died.

I have to set apn to internet before I got connection on my 2degree sim

otherwise everything feels great!

I was thinking of getting one of these for my wife, at the moment she has my old Galaxy S2 which is still working well. would like to update to a newer phone we aren't heavy users just seem to txt mostly. We are both with Skinny and that's the only doubt as the won't work on the Skinny network other wise would have bought it before.
Or do I wait and see if another one comes along with the same specs that would work with Skinny, as we have found them alright to date and suits us you do get some freebies thrown in now and then!

Won't work on Skinny as Skinny is Spark based...

The smart prime will work on Skinny/Spark if you unlock it. It's a lot cheaper and seems to work adequately.

Doesn't the Smart Prime have the same issue as the Ultra, aka no Band 28 support therefore not usable on Spark/Skinny 4G? Both work fine for 3G, just not 4G.

Both Spark, Vodafone and 2 Degrees have 4G on Band 3 1800Mhz. Spark also has some band 7 2600Mhz in urban area. Not that many phones have band 28 700Mhz still, for most people it should not be an important factor in deciding which phone to get.

4G isn't the issue - Smart ultra does not support the 850MHz 3G band required for service on Spark/Skinny, so is not suitable for use on that network.

I have dropped this phone so many times at work countless times from 4-6ft drops by accident and not on scratch on the screen.

Really am surprised, the corners of the phone tho :D

Hi,

Is the Noel Leeming version only 64gb expandable memory and the Warehouse stationary 128gb?

I thought there was only one version of the smart ultra.... with 128gb expandable.

Usually if you format your external SD to fat32 you can put whatever size card you want in.

I am just wondering if there is a difference between the smart ultra sold at Noel Leeming and the one warehouse stationary sell.

They are trying to get out of the guarantee by saying that the one I brought from them will accept a 128gb SD card while the one at Noel Leeming only accepts a 64gb.

I was unaware of to different specifications of this model.

Does anybody have any ideas?

There is absolutely no difference, Smart ultra comes in a single global SKU, and it says 128GB Micro SD support on the back of the box IIRC.
