What's wrong with the white version? Looks pretty neat to be honest. Was trying to save up a bunch of pant rubbing stains on the back of it but for the sake of this post all of them disappeared with some saliva and a finger

kingP: Any one found a good place to get cases and screen covers?

Had a look on TradeMe but nothing jumps out.

Also if any of you live in Wellington definitely check-out EziGadget he did a great deal for my handset!

How much was the EziGadget deal?  Do they have black?

Considering a second handset to replace my work phone(with work paying)

I got a AT&T HTC One X case from eBay for $11 NZD including UPS 3-5 day shipping

Fits well, and helps protect the camera

Ezigadget's deal for me was $850, I ordered the Grey/Black handset.
I have used them before (for my HTC Hero... way way back in the day)

ImNotADJ as per above Ezigadget have the Grey/black handset.

Thanks Vinnieg, I have never ordered from Ebay but Ill jomp on and have a look.

I just prefer the look of the black one.

I haven't decided what type of case to get yet but I wouldn't want anything too bulky. I guess with the right case the color of the phone is irrelevant.

I was planning on getting it from Vodafone, as I get $800 off the cost with the plan I'm getting. I'm guessing that I have to spend that $800 at a vodafone store tho right?

If i could just take that $800 to ezigadget I will be set!

Anyone played Dark Meadow: The Pact? HOLY WOW. Best graphics I've ever seen on a mobile game, uses the unreal 3 engine, amazing textures and lighting. Game play is pretty cool so far - and it's FREE. Played it through my TV via MHL for a while, looks incredible but some of the weapons require that you look at the phone to fire accurately so it's more of a mobile game. Plus the phone got hot pretty quickly playing this while plugged in. But damn, if this is what we have in store for the Tegra 3 optimized games...

Just downloading Dark Meadow now, can't wait! Looks great

@KingP, thanks for that, I migh have to check them out soon

Considering giving the white to the wife, and getting a second black/brown. I prefer the black/brown look too. In my line of work, my phone gets too darky/scratched in the white I have now

538 MB, wow... what happens when there's an update? Another 500 MB download? Either way I'm downloading it

Is pretty cool game!

Ok, only 2 things bug me so far with my One X.
No option for differing LED notifications.
No option to change the layout of text message threads. I HATE that iphone style.
Will try go sms again but was hoping to not have to use an app for messaging.

Dark Meadow is cool, got it the day it came out. Eats battery though (like 60% in an hour and phone so hot it was uncomfortable taking a call straight after that!).

You don't get the random lag, when hitting the home button?

usually when returning from the browser, skype, or games

Takes about 10-15 seconds to get a usable home screen

Only thing I don't like about this phone is sense, so I'm glad I can already drop it for CM9.

Anyone else tried doing this?

"Charge up to 100%, go into airplane mode, then type *#*#3424#*#*, you will see a bunch of tests, click more then click battery test and click run."

Running it at the moment after experiencing some pretty crap battery life. At worst this will cancel out a faulty unit and put the blame on telecoms coverage, wifi or radio problems, or my auto-sync settings

Oh, and after running it, it should be above 70%, but preferably around 80%. If it's not below 70% then to HTC there's not a defect/problem

I switched to Apex Launcher, smooth as butter - only thing I miss is the sense people widget. But I will definitely hop on the CM9 train when the camera and mobile data are working solidly.

Can't edit above post;

Ended up with 78% battery left at the end of the test, it's normal at least in that respect
